Taking care of the medical health and status of our patients, the Clinical Staff, including our Physicians' Assistants (PA's) and Medical Assistants (MA's). These compassionate and caring members of our team are always available to answer your questions.

Radiation Oncology is a unique medical specialty, as it relies not only on highly sophisticated technology, but equally on a large number of healthcare and support professionals to provide the highest level of care for our patients. If these professionals are not at the top of their field, then the treatments they help to play a role in will not be either. In addition to Advanced Radiation Centers of New York's commitment to having the highest level of available and proven technology, we understand that without the finest and most experienced staff, the use of this technology would be suboptimal. All of our staff, including our physics staff, nursing staff, radiation therapy staff, and administrative staff - work closely with our Radiation Oncologists to ensure that the level of care is second to none, and no less than it would be in treatment for our own family members.

A true "team approach" is required to consistently deliver the highest level of care, especially at the high level that ARC is so committed to providing. Our staff is, without doubt, the most experienced in delivering high-level therapies, since we have the most experience and treat more patients than practically any other radiation practice in the country, and certainly in the metropolitan New York area. For example, in the last two years alone, ARC has treated more prostate cancer patients with gold-marker IGRT and RapidArc than any other Radiation Oncology practice in the country. Therefore, our physicists, dosimetrists, medical assistants and physicians have a level of experience and expertise that is unmatched. Other practices and hospitals that are just getting these technologies might take years to gain the knowledge that our staff has already obtained in a very short time because of our position as the largest freestanding practice in the state.
