The health and safety of our patients is our paramount concern. Our offices are observing the following safety precautions to ensure we can continue to provide care while minimizing the risk of transmitting coronavirus (COVID-19) to other patients and our staff.
When you arrive at our office, you will be briefly screened to assess your exposure risk; once screened we ask that you observe social distancing and stay at least 6 feet from other people.
Please be prepared to answer the following questions:
- Have you traveled outside the US within the past 2 weeks?
- Have you come in contact with anyone who has traveled in the past 2 weeks?
- Have you come into contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19)?
All patients will be assessed for fever or new upper respiratory symptoms.
Once you are screened and check in, if you would like and are able, you will be offered the opportunity to wait for your visit in your automobile.
To minimize transmission risk, the only individuals that can accompany patients to the visit are those that are necessary for mobility or communication. All others will be asked to wait in their vehicle if possible.
If you have questions and need to contact your physician, feel free to phone the office or send a message through our patient portal.
If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19, the CDC recommends you call your primary health care provider.
Most importantly, please protect yourself by washing your hands frequently with soap and water, covering your mouth when coughing or sneezing, and avoiding close contact with anyone who has a fever or cough. For additional information about COVID-19, please visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov .
Thank you in advance for your understanding and support as we try to continue to provide access to care in the safest manner possible.
